As the CEO and founder of Clinical Solutions Incorporated, Karen Edmunds is responsible for running all facets of the business. Karen has a proven executive management track record and over 24 years of experience. Within Clinical Solutions Karen has led the enterprise-focused company into a transformational beacon of advocacy for increasing the client base success through counseling and growth profitability. Prior to, she founded ER & Associates in 2009 to provide the specific service of educational consultation and advocacy to families with children in special education who also have behavioral health issues. Karen also forged a partnership with the State Care Management Entity and became one of the first providers in the provider network for families served through care coordination using a wraparound approach. She maintained a relationship with the Care Management Entity until 2017, that serviced families in Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, Carroll County, the Eastern Shore and the District of Columbia. Karen holds Master of Social Work from Howard University, and a MEd from College of Notre Dame , and Certificate of Advance Study in education Karen is a leader in healthcare organization with a visionary approach to planning, problem solving, and decision making.

Charles Edmunds

CFO

As the CFO and Co-founder of Clinical Solutions Incorporated, Charles Edmonds is responsible for the overall financial strategy and direction at Clinical Solutions, as well as human resources. Within finance, he guides the controller, treasury, board member relations, accounting, tax, and internal audit functions to pursue the company's aggressive growth strategy. Charles’ career spans more than 25 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Clinical Solutions, Charles held previous financial management position in various banking institutions as well as the Housing Authority of Baltimore. Charles has also held senior-level positions in both investment and commercial banking companies, including Madison Funding NFM and Lending Tree. Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Business Administration from the Morgan State University. Charles has established a reputation for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth.

Michele Grob

Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Michele Grob is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency, and to ensure that the delivery of all services is consistent with the values of Clinical Solutions. Michele works extensively with stakeholders in the community to help ensure a high quality of service for the individuals serviced by our agency. Michele attends monthly meetings with community stakeholders to understand the needs of the clients we service. Michele has over ten years of experience managing and overseeing programs focused on children, youth and families. Prior to Clinical Solutions, Michele managed grant funded programs within Montgomery County. Michele has worked extensively with children and families throughout her 25+ year career in Social Work.

Shereece Savoy Simpkins

School Based Program Manager/Psychotherapist

Shereece Savoy Simpkins has been a licensed therapist (LCPS-S, LPC) in Maryland and D.C., certified infant and early childhood mental health provider for over 11 years. She understands that in creating the life you want, sometimes, healing and restoration must take place. Helping people acknowledge and understand the integral parts of themselves through acceptance, self-love and security in who they are is the focus of her practice and at the core of the work she does with her clients. Shereece specializes in working with individuals who are passionate about self discovery, experiencing difficulty adjusting after a life change or traumatic event occurred, or managing symptoms related to a mood disorder, anxiety, personality disorder or co-occurring disorders. She also works with parents and children through parent-child interaction training, family counseling, evidenced-based trauma assessment and treatment modalities, and parent coaching. The goal is never perfection, but rather to build security, create community and create a life where acceptance is not only tolerated but necessary.

Theresa A. Uzoukwu

Nurse Practitioner

Theresa A. Uzoukwu is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, who is qualified to practice psychiatry care in diagnosing, treating and prescribing medication for children, adolescents and adults. Some of her practice specialties include but not limited to ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Panic attacks and Insomnia. Theresa began her career in medicine working as a Registered Nurse at Deadwood Rehabilitation and Wellness Center caring for the elderly patients. She could not find complete fulfillment in this position, hence she ventured into the psychiatry field working at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, an inpatient psychiatric hospital as a Psychiatric nurse. In her new role, she helped patients by way of advocacy and addressing their emotional and mood disorders. Eventually, she recognized this was her passion and then decided to continue her education in nursing. Theresa received her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. After graduating she started work at Clinical Solutions, as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Medical Director. As a clinician, Theresa values a patient centered approach to health and healthcare.
